The Upper Val d'Ultimo is famous for its ancient "masi" farmsteads with larch shingle roofs. Today we followed a well-tended hiking trail through mountain pastures full of flowers and up to the picturesque village of San Nicolò, and then continued to Pracupola. Along the way we saw farmers at work and, of course, enjoyed some well-deserved delicacies in a beautiful typical trattoria.
